Our Story

Hi! We are Becky and Tom Tenseth, and we are so glad you are here.

Our story started with the mission of bringing Becky's insurance office back to Weatherford, Texas. The search for the "right" place began and several "wrong" places were on the list, until...

The lonely blue house on the corner of Lee and College, surrounded by a chain-link fence and overgrown grass. The house we had passed time and time again...THAT house, all of a sudden popped up in Tom's mind. It had been for sale for two years, but we had never even thought about it before.

And just like that, God's plan and Becky's dream collided. They had their very own late Victorian home. 

Work began, but was far from complete when their first gathering came about. Tom's Uncle John passed away, and we wanted a peaceful, comfortable place for our family to gather. It was a beautiful time of laughing, crying, remembering and honoring Uncle John. It was then that Becky's office became "A Gathering Place".
